  • What is our mission?
    The mission of the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation is to honor the sacrifice of Firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001. We also honor our military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country.
  • How much of my donation goes directly to charity?
    All money raised will go to all the charitys associated with this event.
  • How can I take part?
    You can register to take part in the event run/walk by clicking the button below. Cardiff Tunnel 2 Towers regisitration
  • Is there water available on the course?
    Yes, water will be available around the 2.5k mark as well as the start and finish.
  • Where is the race start, finish and race village?"
    the race will start and finish inside the Roald dahl plas, marshalls will guide you to the start.
  • I dont live in Cardiff and dont know the route, will I be able to get lost?"
    No. The course will be marshalled throughout.
  • What happens if I cannot finish the run/walk?
    We will have medical personnel there on hand. If you are too tired we will be able to assist you to the start/finish area.
  • Can I wear headphones?
    No. Communication of important warnings or information from emergency services or cousre marshalls is more important.
  • Can i take part in the race with a pushchair, wheeled device, skateboard, nordic sticks, with a dog or in fancy dress? "
    No participant may use skatedboards, bikes, rollerblades, hand cycles, running strollers, stilts, crutches, nordic sticks or bring a dog. Wheel chairs, pushchairs and fancy dress are allowed. Bulky fancy dress must be checked with the race directors for permission.
  • Can i raise money for charity I choose?
    Yes please contact your chosen charity to obtain sponsor forms and support. If setting up a just giving link please join your page to ours. Information to do this is under the fundraise option on the dropdown menu.
  • Do I have to raise for a charity or good cause?
    No, its not compulsory - its entirely up to you. If you are undecided then please consider raising money for the Fire Fighters Charity.
  • Where do I get sponsorship forms?
    Sponsorship forms sre to be obtained from your chosen charity.
  • Can I get a photograph of myself competing in the race?
    Yes there will be photographers although we cannot guarantee all we be captured.
  • What time will the race start?
    The race will start at 11am Sunday the 22nd September.
